Millstone Medical Revamps Online Tracking System

Designed specifically for medical device manufacturers, an updated version of the Millstone Medical Outsourcing (Fall River, MA) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system enables customers to track and manage their processes and inventory. Employed by more than 50% of the firm’s customers, the subscription-based online tool is accessible to clients of the company’s sterile packaging services, loaner expedite program, instrument-recycling program, or warehousing and distribution services. Because it is a subscription service, the ERP client can eliminate costs and challenges associated with developing an in-house tracking tool, the company says. Requiring just Internet access, the tool enables real-time tracking of a product from receipt to final shipping. The system offers broader customization, improved functionality, and more-robust processing than its previous iteration, according to the firm.
