Merger Consolidates Testing and Manufacturing Needs

Medical packaging product and service suppliers TCP Reliable (Edison, NJ; www.tcpreliable.com) and DDL (Eden Prairie, MN; www.testedandproven.com) have announced a merger. The two companies will continue to operate individually under their current names, with DDL as a wholly owned subsidiary of TCP Reliable.

“The true benefit of this merger for our clients is access to a wider array of services custom suited to their growing needs,” says Patrick Nolan, chief operations officer of DDL. “Particularly, our clients will be able to confidently consolidate both their testing and manufacturing objectives.”

TCP Reliable provides such products as temperature assurance packaging, regulated packaging products, and protective packaging to the medical device industry. In addition, the company offers relevant services that include temperature validation, shock and vibration testing, UV testing, and package design.

Complementing TCP Reliable’s offerings, DDL conducts a range of medical device packaging tests to ensure compliance with ISO standards, among them ISO 11607 for sterilized devices. The firm also performs medical device validation and testing for OEMs. Luer gauging and strength, flow-rate, and stress testing services are available.
