www.rtpcompany.com

A new search function at www.rtpcompany. com allows OEMs, designers, and molders to quickly find thermoplastic compounds. The P POD property search function is located on the RTP Co. site. It scans more than 2700 compound data sheets and narrows the field to those that fit user-defined parameters. Users can choose English standard or metric data point ranges for up to three material properties such as surface resistivity, tensile strength, flammability, and specific gravity. Searches can also be based on resin type, grade, or the company's nomenclature. The selected data sheets can be viewed and printed. The complete library includes standard components categorized into 47 engineering thermoplastics and 16 specialty product groups.
