Hi-Tech Rubber Expands Manufacturing Capabilities

Hi-Tech Rubber Inc. (Anaheim, CA) has merged with AC Hoffman Engineering (Riverside, CA), a supplier of custom molded rubber components, to meet the increase in diverse customer demands. The company also plans on opening a 50,000-sq-ft facility in Riverside this year. The new plant will initially include a 6000-sq-ft clean molding room and a 2500-sq-ft finishing area. Both cleanrooms will have Class 100,000 capabilities and will be able to expand to more than double their size as the company grows. The Anaheim and Riverside facilities will provide more than 130,000 sq ft of manufacturing space and enable the company to increase its number of employees to more than 500.

Hi-Tech Rubber is a contract manufacturer of thermoset and thermoplastic elastomer components to the device industry. It is currently seeking to acquire additional companies to further meet its customer requirements.
