Technology: Seventh Sense Biosystems (7SBio) has developed an at-home blood testing device using its proprietary Touch-Activated Phlebotomy technology. The device uses microneedles to puncture the uppermost layers of skin and draw blood. As a result, the need for large needles that draw blood from the arm arm is eliminated.Patients can use the device - the size of a stethoscope - at home to draw blood. The device gives visual clues to let the patient know when the blood extraction is complete.The device has CE Mark in Europe.
