Forest City Expands Molding Services for Device OEMs

Forest City's new production facility molds high-volume components using medical-grade materials.

Announcing an expansion of its injection molding capabilities, Forest City Technologies (Wellington, OH) has opened a new production facility dedicated to the development of products made from silicone rubber and thermoplastic elastomers. The new 60,000-sq-ft facility, located at the company's Wellington headquarters, is committed to producing injection-molded and overmolded components for the medical device industry. The plant's state-of-the-art equipment is suited for the fabrication of components for Class I and II devices, such as one-way sealing valves, glands, diaphragms, injection sites, infant care products, and other high-volume, tight-tolerance, molded parts. The company offers engineering and design support, in-house prototyping services, and high-speed vision inspection systems.
