Kelly Engineering Resources (Troy, MI) is now accepting entries for its third annual Future Engineers Scholarship program. The winner will receive a $5000 scholarship to be used for educational expenses in 2006.
The engineering personnel firm created the program, which recognizes exceptional engineering students, to boost student interest in engineering careers, alleviate shortages in the field, and foster excellence in engineering.
All sophomore- and junior-level college engineering students are eligible. The contest consists of several essays on various engineering topics. Candidates will also be evaluated based on outstanding academic performance as well as on their potential for and interest in an engineering career. The prize will be awarded in December 2005.
Submission materials, guidelines, and essay questions are available on-line at www.kellyengineering.com. Submissions must be received by June 30, 2005.
