Cable strain relief
A cable strain relief is useful for healthcare equipment. It is designed to eliminate connection failure during critical medical procedures. The Wave strain relief, made from medical-grade silicone rubber, offers a smooth cleanable surface as well as the flexibility of chambered-style strain reliefs. The RoHS-compliant device is suitable for use wherever a cable is used in a dynamic application and requires ease of cleaning. The configuration can be produced in materials such as PVC, polyurethane, and thermoplastic elastomer formulations.

Multi- and single-fiber connectors
Optical industrial connector systems offer easy installation and termination in harsh industrial environments. The SC version has a single fiber and the MPO version comes with 8 to 12 fibers. Features can include P67-rated sealing on standard optical interfaces, bayonet-style mechanical latch-on assemblies, a removable connector that provides sealing at the adapter-mating surface as well as at the cable exiting the connector, moisture and dust protection, and a temperature range from –40° to 85°C. A bulkhead adapter allows for easy enclosure installation, and the units work with any standard filter type.

A series of RoHS-compliant filter connectors remove electromagnetic interference (EMI). The Amphe-dB connectors are suitable for use in medical applications such as laboratory equipment, scanners, patient monitors, and therapy equipment. The connectors are installed at the entrance of a device, providing a clean signal where information enters or exits. This helps to ensure that EMI will not affect the device’s other components and allows the device to operate properly. Units are customizable for many applications through various filtering options and shell configurations.

High-performance connectors address the problem of signal transmission and fragility of solder joints in hand-formable cable assemblies. The eSMA connectors feature an extended ferrule; failure-proof coupling nuts; EZ-style, solder-free, captivated center contacts; and a solder-damming positive cable stop. The connectors have VSWR performance of 1.10 up to 12.4 GHz, 1.20 from 12.4 to 18 GHz, and 1.31 from 18 to 26 GHz. They provide a typical VSWR of 1.38 at 14 GHz, and can be bent firmly and simply even close to the connector, where many solder joints in hand-formable assemblies break.
