Microporous Membranes Are Suitable for Filtering Liquids and Gases

Standard and custom die-cut microporous PTFE membranes require no lamination and are suitable for filtering liquids and gases in industrial instruments and equipment. The robust Mupor membranes feature tensile strength up to 20 N/mm2, are noncytotoxic, and can be sterilized by steam and EtO methods.

Standard and custom die-cut microporous PTFE membranes require no lamination and are suitable for filtering liquids and gases in industrial instruments and equipment. The robust Mupor membranes feature tensile strength up to 20 N/mm2, are noncytotoxic, and can be sterilized by steam and EtO methods. Suited for the filtration of aggressive organic solvents, concentrated acids, alkalis, and cryogenic fluids, they are distinguished by a 3-D pore structure that resists closure under pressure. The membranes are available in pore sizes of 0.5–50 µm, thicknesses of 50–3000 µm, and widths of up to 330 mm. They can be supplied with an optional polypropylene laminate backing. The membranes can be rotary die–cut for high-volume production and delivered in special packaging such as rolls or polybags.
