(Gaithersburg, MD), which produces proprietary DNA- and RNA-testing systems for the screening, monitoring, and diagnosis of human diseases. He is also the managing partner of Armonk Partners, the founding shareholder in Digene. Before joining Digene, he was associate director at Furman Selz, a New York– based investment banking group focused on emerging-growth healthcare mergers, financing, and operations.

0311x30c.jpgGlen Paul Freiberg is vice president for regulatory, quality, and government affairs at Gen-Probe Inc. (San Diego), which produces nucleic acid–testing products used for the clinical diagnosis of human diseases and for screening donated human blood. He has previously worked as an investigator for FDA, and has held industry positions in areas regulated by FDA centers covering drugs, biologics, and devices. He has also served as the industry representative on FDA advisory panels for immunology, clinical chemistry, and toxicology.
