Agency Calls for Comments on Opened-But-Unused Single-Use Devices

FDA is providing an opportunity for OEMs and others to submit comments about current practices for opened-but-unused single-use medical devices. FDA is publishing this notice to gather informed comment from individuals, professional organizations, original equipment manufacturers, reprocessors, and hospitals as it examines its policy with respect to this particular issue in the use of medical devices. Written comments must be received by November 26, 2002.
