The motor is equipped with the an inductive rotary encoder that operates based on the principle of detection of high-frequency inductivity, which generates eddy current in an electrically conducting target.The advantages of a high-frequency inductive method of measurement include high speed, high robustness toward dust or oil vapor, and insensitivity against interferences pulses such as PWM controllers or motor magnets. The motor achieves resolutions of up to 3200 impulses per turn and a nominal torque of 517 mNm.
