Norman Noble, a contract manufacturer of medical implants, recently announced the expansion of its in-process and final inspection department in its Medtech I Facility. The new dedicated space combines two quality control labs into one larger lab and increases total lab space by approximately 20%. The larger space, according to Norman Noble, will allow for a more efficient layout, product flow, and improved delivery time of nitinol shape-set implants — including vascular stents, transcatheter heart valve components, and neurovascular flow diverters.

The company’s quality control labs streamline the ability to bring next-generation medtech devices and implants quickly to market without sacrificing quality, delivery, and regulatory requirements. “We’ve invested in streamlining our quality control processes to support customer projects,” said David Saletrik, director of quality assurance of Norman Noble. “Consolidating the quality control labs and relocating them adjacent to our shipping/receiving department will allow us to better serve our customers and improve delivery times.”
