It's not just adults that need life-saving or life-sustaining devices. Children and babies need them too. 

But there aren't enough pediatric devices out there. And the Pediatric Device Consortium aims to change. The group attempts to help pediatric device inventors who want to create anything from a band-aid to a surgical implant. 

The group's goal is to help develop devices that are specifically meant for children as opposed to adult devices that are scaled down versions of devices for adults.
