Research and development organization Battelle, working with doctors at Ohio State University have implanted a microchip sensor into a patient's body that can transfer thought signals to a wearable sleeve, allowing him to control his arm movements with his thoughts. Special software interprets signals in the spinal cord and sends them into the sleeve where they are transferred to the patient's muscles,allowing for arm movement.
