Location: Zhongli City, Taoyuan, Taiwan

Team Leader: Chung-Kang Peng, Dean of the College of Health Sciences and Technology, and K.-T. Li Chair Professor of the National Central University.

Solution: The team is aiming to develop a portable, light, consumer-friendly system to diagnose 15 conditions as well as continuously monitor five vital signs. There are five sub-systems that make up the overall diagnostic product: Smart Vital-Sense-Patch and Smart Vital-Sense-Wrist module; Smart Blood Sense module; Smart Scope module; Smart Exhaler module; and Smart Urine Sense module. These modules are wirelessly connected to a smartphone which has a companion app that runs the analysis based on proprietary alogirthms to make a diagnosis.
