Team Leader: Eugene Chan, a physician-inventor and serial entrepreneur and Founder, President, and Chief Scientific Officer of the DNA Medicine Institute.

Solution: DMI has developed a sensor called the rHEALTH Sensor with support from NASA and the NIH. A version of that is being developed for consumer and clinical use. The device has been used six different major test categories and in over 22 different tests. Like its competitors all vying for the $10 million prize, the device aims to bring powerful diagnostic capability for personal use.
