What it Does: A dongle is attached to a smartphone drawing power from its audio jack to performs enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) without needing any stored energy. It performs triplexed immunoassay, something that is not currently available in a single test format: HIV antibody, treponemal-specific antibody for syphilis, and non-treponemal antibody for active syphilis infection.
