Italian startup Flywallet showcased Keyble during CES 2021, a wearable that incorporates multiple biometric authentication capabilities. Developed to help users prove their identities to enable contactless payments and digital services, the device also incorporates biosensing technology for monitoring vital signs.
A medical-grade version is expected by the end of 2021, which could allow users to share relevant data with physicians or insurance companies.
Keyble can be inserted into fashion accessories such as bracelets or watch straps. Its case is made of aluminium and a recycled plastic composite material, while the straps are made in Italy using apple skin, recycled microfiber, and fabric coated with recycled marble powder, the company shared.
