The practice of home-based healthcare is on the rise, along with demand for medical devices that can be used at home for patient care and monitoring. Cost pressures and the preference for rehabilitating in one's personal residence--along with the increase in personal health monitoring practices--are driving patient care away from clinical settings and creating an increased need for devices that can be utilized in residential environments.
