Digital health startups continue their forward march and while their country of origin for the most part is United States, a lot of novel work in the field is being done worldwide.
In December, the Journal of mHealth published its 2015 Global Digital Health 100 List, which included innovations from 15 different countries. All 100 of course were judged by criteria of 10 different quantitative and qualitative evaluation metrics including: disruptive impact; proof of concept; technology innovation; social value; effectiveness; execution of strategy; and, industry integration.
The slideshow that follows, in alphabetical order, shows 10 non-American digital health firms — with a device and/or mobile medical app solution — that were included in the list and the products/solutions they offer in a changing healthcare landscape globally.
