Robert Langer, the David H. Koch Institute professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has been honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award through the Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA) program. Langer's contributions include advancements in the fields of drug delivery, tissue engineering, nanotechnology, and personalized medicine.
The award was presented today at a special ceremony at MD&M East in Philadelphia.
