Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA) 2014 Call for Entries
The 2014 MDEA awards, honoring the higest achievements in medical product manufacture and design, are now open for entries - featuring two brand new catagories.

The MedTech Industry's Premier Design Competition, the Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA) is now accepting entries. The MDEA celebrates the achievements of medical product manufacturers, their suppliers, and the many people behind the scenes - engineers, scientists, designers, and clinicians - who are responsible for these groundbreaking innovations.
The MDEA competition accepts entries in 11 categories from companies and individuals worldwide involved in the design, engineering, manufacture, or distribution of finished medical devices, products, systems, and medical packaging products. To be eligible for entry in the 2014 MDEA competition, products must be commercially available—able to be ordered or purchased—by December 31, 2013.
Two new categories have been added for 2014:
Drug-Delivery Devices and Combination Products
Medical Product Packaging, Graphic Instructions, and Labeling Systems
Early: November 15, 2013 - $450 (reduced entry fee)
Standard: December 6, 2013 - $650
Final Deadline: January 31, 2014 - $750
