John Abele is the retired founding chairman of Boston Scientific Corp. He holds numerous patents and has published and lectured extensively on the technology of various medical devices and the trends and issues affecting healthcare. He also chairs FIRST, a nonprofit chairity that which works with high school kids to make being science-literate cool and fun, and is the founder and owner of the Kingbridge Conference Centre and Institute, which helps leaders who want to inspire change.
