Sterimed Group has wrapped up the acquisition of Westfield Medical, a supplier of sterilization packaging systems. Based in the UK, Westfield Medical produces sterilization pouches, reels, bags, wraps, and tray liners from its manufacturing site near Bristol. Westfield Medical has also launched Humipak, a unique moisture retention pouch for post-operative instrument handling, intended to help reduce healthcare-associated infections.

Westfield Medical is also a strong brand in the sterilization packaging marketplace, serving the UK NHS and other customers.
