Raumedic Inc. will be expanding its cleanroom manufacturing facilities at its U.S. headquarters in Mills River, NC. Slated for completion by February 2022, the additional cleanroom will be used for new product lines. It will also support growth of the workforce at Raumedic Inc. in the close-by regions of Buncombe County and Henderson County. The company recently reached 100 employees and has grown by 15 percent within the last 12 months.
“Growth is the key word for describing our five years in Mills River,” stated Martin Bayer, president and CEO of Raumedic Inc., in a news release. “The advanced equipment and processes that will go into the new space will help us to remain ahead of the curve. With automated assembly cells and robotically augmented molding presses, we are able to produce high-quality medical technology solutions in the mainland US and remain competitive.”

Raumedic specializes in processing medical-grade thermoplastic polymers and silicones at five production sites in Germany and the United States.
