Currier Expands Capacity with New FacilityCurrier Expands Capacity with New Facility
Facility construction is currently underway, with estimated completion in Q123.
Currier Plastics, DBA Currier, a provider of customer injection and blow molding plastic consumables, recently announced the purchase of a new 71,000 sq ft facility to help accommodate growing demand from the healthcare market. The expansion will provide an additional 25,000 sq ft of ISO cleanroom space to build upon existing capabilities in the plastic consumable market. The company noted that its primary plastic consumable market is driven by changes in the IVD, POC, and Life Sciences markets. Additionally, the expansion plans will reportedly include Currier’s Quality and R&D capabilities.
“Currier has become a leading provider for complex, precise consumables in several healthcare markets,” said Ron Ringleben, vice president of business development at Currier. “This expansion will give us the place to grow more incredibly strong valuable partnerships”
This is the just the latest positive change for the company over the last few months. In July, Currier also launched a new website and logo. Construction of the facility is currently underway and has an anticipated completion in Q123.
“While the focus of the new facility is driven by the demand in the healthcare space, this new facility will allow us to continue to support our key customers in other spaces like general packaging and amenities,” said Rob Knapp, Currier sales & marketing manager.
