Value Plastics introduces quick connect series of connectors

Value Plastics has developed a new line of connectors, the MQC Series. These quick connect fittings are an affordable push-to-connect solution yielding features desired by end users, engineers, and designers.

End users will benefit from the intuitive design, large ergonomic grips, and audible click indicating a secure connection. Due to the MQC’s haptic characteristics, the fitting is easy to handle, even while wearing gloves. Another notable feature of the MQC Series is its wide selection of colors. End users will appreciate the potential for unique color-coding, a connection verification technique utilized in a number of applications. In acknowledgement of the medical industry’s developing ISO 80369 standard, this luer alternative’s innovative design also helps to reduce the risk of misconnections.

Designers and engineers will enjoy the availability of multiple nylon resins (including a USP Class VI material), a variety of barb sizes, and a considerable number of color choices that will allow for their own custom-made solutions. The MQC Series is available in white, grey, black, green, blue, red, and purple nylon with barb sizes ranging from 1/8 to 3/16 in. (3.2 to 4.8 mm). The male connector includes a Buna-N o-ring to ensure a secure seal, and in terms of sterilization techniques, the fittings are both ethylene oxide (EtO) compatible and gamma radiation stable. The connectors are tested for up to 1500 connection cycles.
