The 12.7-mm diam (0.5-in.) motors feature a low-loss lamination material, a precision-balanced neodymium magnet rotor assembly, a 200°C wire insulation system, and high-quality bearings. This results in a good power-to-weight ratio, long service life, high reliability, zero cogging, high efficiency, low audible noise, and better low-speed operation than competitive units, according to the company.
An autoclavable version of the SLH motors is available with potted windings and conformally coated PCB assemblies. Other available options are custom windings and custom shaft configurations, including dual shafts, gearboxes, and shaft seals.
