Based on Nitto Kohki Europe Ltd.'s (Watford, Herts, UK; www.nitto-europe.com) durable piston pump series, diaphragm pumps have been developed for critical medical and industrial applications. Providing air flow between 6 and 50 L/min, the pumps achieve 300 mbar maximum pressure and a maximum underpressure of -250 mbar. The basic power supply is 230 V, but lower voltage as well as ac models can be supplied to suit customer specifications. These diaphragm pumps have been designed specifically to perform reliably in vital situations.
