The Muse headband is a  four-channel, six-sensor device that aims to let users improve memory, reduce stress, and better manage conditions like attention deficit disorder (ADD), epilepsy, and Alzheimer’s. Apps for the device can serve a variety of purposes including improving cognitive function and reduce stress. The device captures near-clinical-grade ECG and communicates with a mobile device or desktop computer. Interaxon, the company behind the device, says a study showed that only 20 hours of training on this type of EEG technology have been proven to be as effective as Ritalin in managing ADD.    arrow-for-slideshow-right.jpg
