GORE Septal Occluder. Manufactured and submitted by W. L. Gore & Associates Inc. (Flagstaff, AZ). The GORE Septal Occluder is a permanent implant delivered via a transcatheter approach. It is used to treat congenital heart defects of the atrial septum: Atrial Septal Defect and PFO. It prevents shunting of the blood between the right and left atria.
