Alex Harscher is vice president of operations and the head of manufacturing of Retina Implant AG (Reutlingen, Germany). He earned his graduate degree in physics and has a PhD in electron holography of biological specimens from the University of Tübingen, Germany. Reach him at [email protected].

 

William Hyman is a professor of biomedical engineering at Texas A&M University. His primary areas of professional activity are in medical device design, system safety, and human factors. He is president of the ACCE Healthcare Technology Foundation and is an editor of the Journal of Clinical Engineering. Contact him at [email protected].

John Leone is partner at Paul Capital. He has more than 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry and most recently served as president and CEO of Cambrex Corp. Jay Tourigny is vice president of operations at MicroCare Medical (New Britain, CT). He has more than 25 years of industry experience and holds numerous U.S. patents for cleaning-related products that are used on a daily basis in medical, fiber optic, and precision cleaning applications.
