Medtech Salary Survey 2013: A Sneak Peek

Each year, numerous reports attempt to gauge the performance of the medtech industry by considering everything from funding and mergers and acquisitions to product approvals. But these studies overlook perhaps the most important indicators of the health of the industry: the men and women who actually work for medical device and diagnostic companies.

Once again, MD+DI has partnered with research firm Readex to survey medical device and diagnostic industry professionals for our annual Medtech Salary Survey. The results are a snapshot of the medtech industry as seen through the eyes of its employees.

We'll release the full results of the 2013 Medtech Salary Survey a bit later (update: full results and analysis are out), but the topline data from this year's survey contained some interesting insights. We compared this year's results with the responses from 2012 to get an idea as to how the industry has changed over the past 12 months. Read on for more information about the state of medtech companies, employees, salaries, and job satisfaction and security.
