Medtech Salary Survey 2013: A Sneak Peek (Job Security and Satisfaction Data)

Our survey showed that a higher percentage of workers feel more secure in their jobs than they did 12 months ago. Still, a significant portion—16% of respondents—report feeling less secure about their job security.

Overall, medtech employees reported feeling slightly less satisfied in their jobs. On average, respondents ranked their job satisfaction at 3.7 out of 5; that’s down from 3.8 in 2012.

More medical device and diagnostic industry professionals are also looking for a new job. More than 40% say they are actively looking or strongly considering searching for a job outside of their company—up from a third in 2012. On average, medtech employees have spent 8.4 years at their current organization.
