| In November 2014 J&J’s Ethicon Endo-Surgery company received 510(k) clearance from FDA to market its Echelon Flex Powered Vascular Stapler for transection and resection of tissue and vasculature in open or minimally invasive, general, gynecologic, urologic, thoracic, and pediatric surgical procedures. It improves upon the previous generation of the technology by enabling access in surgical procedures with smaller surgical spaces or difficult-to-reach vessels, according to the company. |
