Digital Health Funding Reaches $4.3B in 2015 Matching 2014 Levels

A funding report from Rock Health shows that digital health companies raised $4.3 billion in venture capital in 2015 matching, but not surpassing 2014 levels. A total of 278 companies raised that amount this year down from 294 startups that raised $4.3 million last year.

Digital health startups accounted for 7% of overall venture funding.

In 2015, 247 digital health companies each raised at least $2 million. Late stage startups had a great year.
