Transcatheter valve therapies—specifically transcatheter aortic valve replacement and transcatheter mitral valve replacement—have been a hot topic in cardio for a couple of years now, and iData Research analyst Sean Collins predicts they’ll still make headlines in 2016.

He expects valve-in-valve technologies such as Edwards Lifesciences’s Sapien XT and Medtronic’s CoreValve to experience growth in procedures and for indications to expand to lower-risk patients.
