How many medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers are there in the US?  

(Sample answer: According to the interviewer there are ~12,000 registered medical device manufacturers and fewer drug manufacturers.)

Does FDA approve safe devices? Have you supported audits? Have you worked on 510(k) submissions?  

(Sample answer: The answer was essentially "no, they approve labeling" and what manufacturers can put in their labeling.)

Can you share some unique problem-solving skills you've developed as a result of your specific educational and work experiences?  

Tell me about your product development process?

Are you willing to work nontraditional hours, seeing as this position requires weekend duty every few weeks and are at the mercy of operations?
