"Time may change me. But I can't trace time," the late, great David Bowie sang in "Changes." That sentiment seems especially apt for the medical device industry. On the one hand, medtech seems to be in a sort of tug-of-war situation, with one side dedicating itself to a business-as-usual approach and the other looking to entirely new technologies and business strategies.
