Jesse Darley

Jesse Darley serves as director of mechanical engineering for Design Concepts Inc. Darley has more than 16 years of experience in both mechanical and biomechanical engineering and project management. His experience includes working with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab designing weather sensing equipment used by a 1998 American climbing team during their ascent of Mount Everest and serving as base camp field scientist.

Darley has worked with FitSense Technology (now FitLinxx), where he led the team of designers and engineers who created the world’s first speedometer with an accurate pace and distance sensor, watch, and PC link for runners and walkers. Locally, he has worked with TomoTherapy (Madison, WI) as senior mechanical engineer working on a diverse range of engineering projects for the medical company.
