3-D Printing Breakthroughs in Medtech: Drug-Delivery Devices

Ruston, LA-based startup organicNANO, a spin-off from Louisiana Tech University, is using 3-D printing to develop customized, controlled drug-delivery devices by loading antibiotics or chemotherapy drugs onto medical-grade, biodegradable, and biocompatible PLA and PCL beads, discs, and filaments.
