In its recent "Top Health Industry Issues of 2014" report, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) proclaimed that a new health economy is taking shape, spurred by the Affordable Care Act, technology advances, and changing consumer attitudes. in some ways medical device makers are adapting well to this new healthcare landscape, but they're falling short in three areas.
