8. Novel Sensors Monitor Cerebral Pressure
Researchers at Fraunhofer have developed a neural device that both measures and regulates the pressure in the brain. The device can be used for long-term applications. The technology could be especially useful for patients with hydrocephalus, a condition in which fluid gathers in the brain, causing a range of side effects including tunnel vision and death.
