Medical Applications Strike Gold in Thermoforming Awards

The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Thermoforming Division has announced the winners of its biennial parts competition. The awards were presented during the Thermoforming Division’s conference, held Oct. 23 to 26 in Cleveland.

Commenting on the submissions for awards recognition, competition chair Travis Kieffer said, "The quality and diversity of the entries was notable. We think the innovation and technology on display was the best yet, and it shows that the plastics thermoforming industry is stronger than ever.” 

Three medical-related parts were singled out for gold as well as the People’s Choice awards. The winners are presented in this slide show.
