Spiro Apostolou is president of Poly-Focus International, a consulting firm based in Athens, Greece. He is a scientific advisor to Radius Ventures LLC in New York and to Medical Quant in Tel Aviv, Israel. He is also an associate at the Princeton Management Development Institute in New Jersey, where his focus is on helping organizations create new cultures and in helping managers and executives to adopt change. Dr. Apostolou is also an affiliate professor of engineering at Washington University (St. Louis), an adjunct professor of physics and engineering physics at Bradley University (Peoria, IL), and a board member of the School of Engineering at Bradley. His experience includes 30 years as an executive in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. He has overseen the development of numerous new products and technologies and is recognized for his ability to create research and development in diverse areas of technology. His titles have included chief technology officer for companies worldwide. He has been a member of MD&DI's Editorial Advisory Board since 1980.
