CNC Machining Services
Newly certified to the medical product manufacturing quality standard ISO 13485, Okay Industries offers enhanced computer numerically controlled (CNC) machining capabilities with the addition of a Miyano BND 51 five-axis lathe and a Tsugami SS207 5AX nine-axis Swiss machining center that has a fully programmable b-axis. The latter machine is capable of machining virtually any angle and can produce contoured and sculpted parts as large as 20.0 mm in diameter, such as pump impellers and rotors and biopsy cup jaws, in a single operation using simultaneous five-axis machining. With the twin-spindle lathe, the company can machine bar stock up to 51 mm in diameter and parts to 153 mm diam with conversion to a chucker. This machine can also be used to complete metal-injection-molded, cast, or forged parts with complicated geometries. In addition, the contract manufacturer has added new CAM software to enhance the capabilities of its CNC specialists.
