Geoffrey Somary Promoted to Director of Ipsend International Holding GmbH

  • Ipsen USA (Rockford, IL), a manufactuer of vacuum and atmosphere furnances for use in the medical industry, has appointed its president and CEO, Geoffrey Somary, to its board of directors where he will serve as executive vice president of Ipsen Group reporting to Ipsen Group CEO, Hendrik Grobler. Somary has been with Ipsen for seven years – starting as VP of technology. As executive VP of Ipsen Group, Somary will be charged with developing global strategies and initiatives that promote strong, consistent growth throughout the group's six subsidiaries.

Ronald Kuerbitz Appointed to Management Board of Fresenius Medical Care

  • Fresenius Medical Care (Waltham, MA), a provider of kidney dialysis services and renal care products, has announced a change to its management board effective January 1, 2013. Kuerbitz will succeed Rice Powell as CEO of Fresenius Medical Care North America. Ron Kuerbitz currently serves as executive vice president responsible for market development and administration for Fresenius Medical Care North America.
