ConforMIS Appoints Peter Traynor as Chief Financial Officer
ConforMIS, Inc., a privately held medical device company that produces patient-specific orthopedic implants, including the iTotal G2 total knee replacement system, has announced the appointment of 30-year business and financial management veteran Peter Traynor as the company’s CFO. Stryker Names David K. Floyd as Group President of Orthopaedics
Stryker Corporation has announced the appointment of David K. Floyd to the role of group president of orthopaedics, which includes the company’s reconstructive, trauma and extremities, joint preservation, orthobiologics, and performance products businesses, effective Nov. 15, as well as a management realignment effective Jan. 1, 2013. Floyd joins Stryker after 25 years in the medical technology and orthopaedics industry where he held senior level leadership roles at DePuy, a division of Johnson and Johnson, Abbott Spine, AxioMed Spine, Centerpulse Orthopaedics, and was most recently as chief executive officer of OrthoWorx. MRI Interventions Appoints Robert C. Korn to Head Global Sales and Marketing
