Cadence Names Alan Connor as new CEO
Cadence Inc., a provider of medical device outsourcing systems, has announced that Alan Connor has been selected as the company’s next chief executive officer. Connor has been serving as the president since April 2011 and will succeed Peter Harris in April 2013 following a six-month transition period. Harris will continue as chairman of the board. Prior to joining Cadence in 2011, Connor enjoyed a distinguished career in the medical device industry. His experience includes a variety of executive management roles within large and medium-sized companies, such as MicroAire, MEDRAD, Arthur Andersen, and Westinghouse. [PR Newswire]
 
 
NewAge Industries Appoints new Director of Manufacturing and new National Sales Managers
Plastic tubing manufacturer NewAge Industries has announced the appointments of Robert Volk as its new director of manufacturing and Stephen Kuhns as national sales manager. Volk is a mechanical engineer with experience in thermoplastic injection molding, product development, and team management. Kuhns is a returning employee, having worked for NewAge from 1983 to 1995 in inside and outside sales positions as well as management. Volk’s responsibilities include manufacturing process development and improvement, new product manufacturing, and overseeing NewAge’s thermoset and thermoplastic manufacturing teams. Mike Du Pont Named Western Regional Technical Sales Manager at Methods Machine Tools
Methods Machine Tools Inc., a supplier of precision machine tools, has selected Mr. Mike Du Pont for the position of western regional technical sales manager. He will be covering the western region of the United States, Mexico, and Costa Rica. Prior to joining Methods, Du Pont spent six years as director of manufacturing infrastructure at Williams International, a small jet engine and missile manufacturer in Ogden, UT, where he directed facility operations and maintenance-related activities for multiple plants.
